Full Time/Contract Placements
International Medical Graduates who hold a conditional
registration can be placed in a 6 to 12 month contract
covering a variety of disciplines (rotation) or
one specific discipline either in a training or
non training position under the same district area
health service. In most cases, approaching the contract
conclusion date, an opportunity to extend the contract
is offered.
A generally registered practitioner can apply for
a full time, non Area of Need position.
Locum Placements
A generally registered practitioner (non-conditional
registration) can apply for a locum position with
a term of days to months depending on the position.
This position is usually paid on an hourly or daily
rate. Please also enquire about Salary Packaging.
Administration Services
If a position has already been successfully secured
and you would like to be free from the administration
registration process, SIR can offer a separate administration
service. SIR will adhere to assisting candidates
from junior to senior level with all required applications
to prepare them for Medical Board registration.
SIR will also assist the organization with their
required applications.
